I quit smoking in August '07. That would be 8 months ago. I always knew that I needed to, but never really wanted to quit. That is, until a co-workers husband was diagnosed with lung cancer. He was my inspiration for giving up the nasty habit.

On Friday, Roy came home from the hospital under Hospice care. Today, Marilyn went to the funeral home to make arraingments for his funeral. He will not make it through this week, and he is only 5 years older than I am.
